#50 Have fun.

Do I really need to tell you how to have fun?

Just enjoy what you do. At the end of the day, all the practicing and hard work results in something that we love. Let it make you happy.

  2. How do you have fun at the beginning as much as the middle and end - unless you've been in a practice room warming up and are ready to start. This part of performing is the absolute nightmarishest part. Getting started. Especially if your hands are slightly cold and you've been trying to warm them up - and you're not sure the brain is fully engaged yet - you're not in the zone fully. Can you somehow 'fun' this? I stopped long ago thinking about the audience in ANY way (whether they were in their underwear or not). It never seemed to matter what they were wearing. It all boiled down to 'how much real practice time was put into this piece?' That is when the fun comes back to you - i guess!
